Many apologies if this has been asked before (or if I have failed to read the FAQs thouroughly enough!Wink but can GB-PVR installed on a client machine access files stored on a server?

I'm thinking that I might use my existing PC, configured as a server, for recording tv/radio, etc, and link it through to a small HTPC client, containing basically just an X-card, for replay.

Can this be done?

TIA.

Why not?

Install GB-PVR on both and point the recording directorys on the same location.
But you can´t see LiveTV - of course there is only a TV-Card in the Server [Image: cool.gif]
PC,PVR-350,GB-PVR,TV - all that i want

... or get an MVP which allows watching LiveTV as well as recordings, and is a fraction of the cost, size and noise of a pc while producing equal or superior video quality
