Am I imagining things or did my MVP used to output RGB? I'm sure the TV used to switch automatically to RGB when I booted up the MVP but there is no sign of it doing so now. Has this been removed in the latest versions of the software?

Its not something I've included in the past, or something I've removed. I dont own a RGB capable MVP, but I'm pretty sure this aspect is managed by the Hauppauge software that runs on the MVP.

I have a PVR350, the output on my MVP (as of this date) is way better on the menu on the MVP than the PVR350, this would imply my MVP is RGB and my PVR350 is composite (which i know it is).

Movies are also better on my MVP than the PVR350 quality wise.

As long as you have the SCART i am sure its in the box as its to do with the hardware decoder rather than software controlled.
Many Thanks
Ashley

I have RGB and it works fine. I seem to recall that when I purchased it there was a model without it also. I think RGB was for the Euro market.

I have the same Hardware, and have made A/B tests on a TV between the 350 and the MVP.

I can fully confirm SFX Groups observations, although I on that particular test was unable to get a physical confirmation (readout on the TV) of what type of input on the SCART was generating the picture.

However, it has made me realise that it's much better to just have PVR-150 or PVR-500 and an extra MVP rather than go for the 350 for its HW accellerated output (well - conditions apply for that viewpoint).
