Hi all,
I've recently started using the gbpvr software. Great software!
I've had numerous issues along the way, but have fixed most of them.
Currently I am having some problems playing divx files. I've got a PAL MVP setup, but have some NTSC divx files. The problem I am having is that I want to use the default divx decoder but with the ffdshow raw filter.
I need the divx decoder because it plays the divx files without stutter (ffdshow mpeg4 decoder plays jerky). I need the ffdshow to resize the divx correctly. I've got the 'use ffdshow' turned on for MVP playback and following other posts, I've set gbpvr to run using the administrator account with password (this is the same account I use for everything else gbpvr related).
If I enable the ffdshow mpeg4 decoder, I get it to connect to the graph and resize the video correctly, but as I said, it is jerky. The ffdshow raw filter is also there but for some reason it is to the side (when viewed in graphedit) and is not connected.
If I disable the ffdshow mpeg4 decoder, then the divx decoder is used and it plays divx smoothly but I no longer have resize. As above, the ffdshow raw filter is in the graph but is greyed out and not connected!
So my question is this, how do I get gbpvr to connect to the ffdshow raw filter? It seems to connect the ffdshow mpeg4 filter fine but not to the raw filter. The transcode log file lists the raw filter, but as I said it is not connected when viewed in graphedit. I've set the raw filter to 'all supported' and increased its merit to 0xFFF00000 using the DirectShow Filter Manager.
I manually connected the ffdshow raw filter to the divx decoder output in graphedit and generated a file. That file played fine on the MVP. So this proved the connections are legal, but I don't know of a way to force gbpvr to use this graph.
I believe, from other posts, that I should be able to use the ffdshow raw filter in gbpvr!
Thanks for any help.

PS: I am using version "august 22 2005" of ffdshow and version v0.93.10 of gbpvr.
