XPL Plugin

I need to get pointed in the right direction to start creating a plugin for XPL integration into GB-PVR. I want to create a plugin that allows On Screen Display. My Apologies if I am in the wrong section.

Hi ... not knowing what XPL is, but it does sound cool, best place is searching these forums --> the thread ... http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=8676 ... asks the same question.
The Wiki is a good place, and the source code out there is a good way too. I'm currnetly doing an OSD myself, I'll try and share what I find when I figure it all out ... dc

XPL is an just another format for home automation. I currently have a lot of xten devices, and my XPL interface to control them. It basically allows integration of X10 & XAP devices as well. I run a small Asterisk Server(VOIP PBX), which comes with XPL integration. I broadcast xPL messages for new voice mail and caller ID for incoming calls. It can speak callerID names through the interface and provides other cool features. It pretty nice. Which is why I would like to dev. a plugin for GB-PVR to pass CID info on a panel.
