I've just uploaded http://www.gbpvr.com/GBPVR09413.msi

Relatively minor updates since last build. See below:

Quote:2005-09-24 v0.94.13
- I made a mistake with the GB-PVR 94.12 release I put out about a week ago. I left one of my records in the TRANSCODE_QUEUE table of the database, and this seems to be resulting in a problems for some users. Sorry guys.

- A few minor changes to support the Cyberlink remote. Most buttons will now function when you set GB-PVR to use the 'MCE Remote' option.

- Fixed the "update manual recording" popup that had no mouse control

- Now auto detecting the WST codec filter regardless of name. This should resolve the problem pointed out by German teletext users recently.

- Teletext subtitles can now be used in timeshift mode.

- When specifying maximum number of recordings, you can specify to keep up to 50 recordings. Previously you could specify "all,1,2,3,4,5". This will be useful for those with young kids who need at least 40 episodes of Barney to retain a slight semblance of variety in their household tv viewing. Those with young children will know what I mean...

- Added a Shuffle button to the video library.

- Added a little better error handling and reporting for the USB-UIRT.

- Fixed a problem with quality setting not being retained on reoccurring manual recordings.

- Stopped a popup box that could occur with XMLTV EPG source and invalid XML file

As with all releases, I recommend you backup your config.xml and gbpvr.mdb in case of any unexpected upgrade problems.

All loaded up and running fine. Big Grin

I rebooted my access points, router and switches yesterday and I believe that cleared up the MVP disconnects I was having....I'll keep an eye out. Wink

@sub

i upgraded to 94.13 and the pc crashed with a blue screen, i cant start the pc anymore !

No - just joking Smile U done a really great work !!! The new release is working fine ...
u helped me so often and found my problems everytime - so here is my

FAT RESPECT !!! (we would say in german)

Keep on doing this !

But Smile I have one single question, would it be possible to add the changes in the blue
skin aswell to the changelog ? i have a prob at the moment with my own created skin,
it crashed everytime after starting timeshift - there is something not defined.
When i use the blue skin - it works ... now i have to see whats different between both ...

Hi Sub,

I was trying to convert a recording to XviD. gbpvrconvert "Fitness 0825.mpg" fit.avi "XviD MPEG-4 Codec"

It seemed to be hung and didn't not create the output file. Can you please examine my log file below? I noticed the "ConnectPins failed!" but not sure what that meant.

Thank you.

I hoped this new version might solve my problem. It didn't.

I thought maybe no one replied to my previous plea for help because it was talked about elsewhere and I was just gumming up the works with an error everyone knew about. But I've searched exensively and can't find a solution to this. Only another person's unanswered question about the same problem.

I upgraded from MDAC 2.7 to 2.8 and THAT didn't help. Trying out .net framework 2.0 didn't help. I'm uninstalling and installing to a clean directory and I keep getting the below error when trying to config.

NativeUtilities IS in the gbpvr directory. It is 1,572 kb in size.

Can anyone help?

just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just in time (JIT) debugging, the config file for this
application or machine (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the machine
rather than being handled by this dialog.

Luckily, Sub, myself and another guy figured out this problem (actually I didn't do anything.

The answer was to update to Windows Media Player 9. I was using 8 and after I upgraded (using Windows Update) it worked just fine.

Sub - I just noticed that the TV Guide (Zap2It) stops on Monday, Sept 26th. My subscription has been updated recently.

What's up ?

I've been gone for 2 weeks on business... I just installed the latest and... The new functions are great. Thanks for upgrade.

Although I think this should be posted in the support forum, however--
I also have the Zap2it problem. My listings ends on Monday as well. I did confirm that I can download the zap2it listing through another tool.
