Cable Question

I currently have dial-up internet service but want to make the move to broadband (Roadrunner). Currently, the coax connects to my tuner card (Hauppauge PVR-150 PCI) for cable TV and telephone line connects to the telephone jack on my PC for internet. If I go to cable broadband, how do I connect the cable for internet access yet retain the cable TV to my tuner? Will they have to split the cable and run it to two places?

Your Cable in (from the wall) will be split - one to a cable modem that connects to your PC via USB or network card, the other half to your Tuner or TV.
