What would be really great would be if GBPVR could also be a Renderer.
So far there arent any good PC based renderers. If this support were to be added, than any media stored on a media server would be available in GBPVR.

Now with TVersity as the media server, Tversity transcodes most formats to what a renderer supports. It also has an extensible Library of online content that will eventually update itself as new content is available on the net.

This would be similar to what M$ just recently added to MCE to access a UPnP/AV server.

I bet the TVersity and Cidero Programmers would even point you in the right direction to get this done.

I love the combination of TVersity with GB-PVR for recording and displaying shows on my DSM-320.

I would love to see them work together better. I was wondering if TVersity might eventually read comskip files and skip commercials.

My PC with GB-PVR does nothing but record. It doesn't even have a monitor attached.

I just picked up a MediaMVP (Radio Shack clearance). Not sure what I am going to do with it, but figured it was mostly a remote control to manager GB-PVR's recordings. Accessing TVersity's content on it through GB-PVR would be a nice bonus.

Nothing I could do at the moment, but I assume a plugin could be created to render Upnp-AV content in GB-PVR and then pass it to the MediaMVP.

So Far I have PostProcessing.bat runing MShare to add the new Recordings to TVersity. Now if there was a batch file to run on program delete, that would be nice. Only problem I have is the DSM-320 won't play any file over 4 Gigs so it would be great if GBPVR could break up recordings if one so chooses.

BTW, I just got my MVP's also.

I found editing config.xml in the gbpvr directory and setting these values, centers the screen just right for the MVP. At least on the 2 MVP's I set up.

Code:
<MVPWidth>644</MVPWidth>
  <MVPHeight>440</MVPHeight>
  <MVPOffsetX>20</MVPOffsetX>
  <MVPOffsetY>20</MVPOffsetY>

Comclean contains mpgtx
You can use mpgtx to cut a large mpeg into smaller files.

Use a bat script to check if the size is above 4G and then

mpgtx -s {3000M} filename.mpg

to split the mpeg file in chunks of 3G

use
mpgtx -h
to get all the options, setting the basename may be usefull.
