VLC Help

Having some problems with VLC and the Web Admin. If I navigate to the video directly and play it with VLC it plays fine. However, when I try to play with the web admin, and launch VLC on the m3u file, no audio or video is shown, but the time line moves.

Any ideas??

Not really, it works for me. Can you save the .m3u file to disc and open it with vlc?

Tried that as well, and get the same results.

It opens the M3U file, acts like it streaming, but there is no audio or video.
Guess I'll just have to download the files from the hotel room later today.

Sounds like you are trying to do this remote from a hotel?

In that case you may have a bandwidth problem. I have a 3M Down/768K UP DSL connection at my house and I'm unable to play anything over that using VLC from a remote location such as my office on a T1. Using VLC I get no audio or video regardless of how I connect to the remote file. Using Windows Media Player I get freeze-frame video/audio output. So in my case I'm farily confident that its bandwidth limited and 768 isn't even enough for VLC.

VLC works like a charm in the house on the 54MB WLAN however --- flawless.
