I still can't get my PCH A110 to access the mvpmc shared folder on Windoze 10 Pro (build 1909). I'm pulling my hair out on this one. I have been using my NMTs for 9+ years on my Win7 NextPVR installation, although as I recall I had a battle getting that share to work originally as well.

Notes:
My NMTs can and do work with NextPVR on my dying Windohs 7 Pro PC.
I have the latest v4.2.5 installed on both the dying Win7 and new Win10 machines.
I do have Kodi v18.6 and knewc add-on working with both the new and old PCs (Win7 and Win10 machines).

I've tried dozens of combinations of settings, I've lost track.

I have tried the procedures in these links:
https://www.howtogeek.com/126214/how-to-...windows-8/
https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/wind...78f679e428

I tried with firewall turned off. I tried using REGEDIT to create a DWORD value called 'AllowInsecureGuestAuth' in HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\LanmanWorkstation\Parameters and set this new value to 1.
I've tried the Guest account and with user/password. 40/56 and 128bit encryption. Media sharing enabled and disabled. Public network access on and off.

After running up and down the stairs enough times to make a fitness instructor jealous, I finally moved a PCH into my office next to the Win10 box.
Here's the results of NMTcheck on that PCH from the Win10 machine:

I seem to no longer be able to watch anything I have recorded on the NMT. I am not sure exactly when it happened. I can scroll through menus and everything, but when I try to play anything, it goes black, but returns to the Recordings screen after a second or so. I would think it is something to do with the firewall, but I checked and I still have everything opened for NextPVR.exe and NRecord.exe. I rebooted last Thursday. I am pretty sure I have watched something on the NMT since then.

A little before 9:30, I stopped the recording service, started the recording service, turned on the NMT, went into Recordings, went into the menu for the first item, "People of Earth", and selected "Play". I, then exited and turned off the NMT, stopped the recording service and grabbed the attached logs.

I upgraded to Windows 10, everything with NPVR appears to work fine on the desktop. However, I have 2 A-110's which are both not connecting. When it boots, I see my network share, select it, but then get "Invalid username or password".

It's been years since I last went through this setup. I seem to recall I had to setup a Guest account in Win7? Is that still the case? In any case, I could use some direction from someone who's more familiar with the setup process. Thanks!

I've already tried to add an implicit mapping from the server's hostname ("Kruemelmonster") to the external IP address, 192.168.178.10, but apparently still 127.0.0.1 is used.

After a regular boot or a restart of the server, it picks the external IP address correctly, and the PCH is able to connect without problems. Is there a way to statically configure the address, or is there anything else I could do?

As I've been testing X-NEWA/Kodi on a RPi2 as well as added Kodi to my desktop, the client tab has automatically added the MAC Addresses (Local if Local) to the list of devices in the Clients Tab of the settings menu.

All well and good, BUT it seems like it keeps auto-adding the same Kodi devices, multiple times.
I keep deleting them out of the list but they seem to keep getting added . It's like groundhog day.
I think it happens when I turn off the devices and restart the, but why if they are already listed, are they re-added?

Any ideas?

As I've been testing X-NEWA/Kodi on a RPi2 as well as added Kodi to my desktop, the client tab has automatically added the MAC Addresses (Local if Local) to the list of devices in the Clients Tab of the settings menu.
All well and good, BUT it seems like it keeps auto-adding the same Kodi devices, multiple times.
I keep deleting them out of the list but they seem to keep getting added . It's like groundhog day.
I think it happens when I turn off the devices and restart the, but why if they are already listed, are they re-added?

Any ideas?

I've recently discovered that when playing back recordings through my PCH A110, some of the picture (quite a lot, actually), is being cut off. The picture also appears to be stretched horizontally. I've noticed for some time that the menus are somewhat cutoff, but not to the point where they're not readable, so I never worried about it. But there surely must be some adjustment for this? Is this something that is set within the Settings of NPVR, or is it in the settings on the A110 itself? If someone could point me in the right direction I would be grateful.

Hey guys (Martin, I guess),

I decided to have some fun and got a PCH A-110 off ebay. Trying to set it up, it all looks good, but the NMTInstall2 dies on this error:

ComputureName : TUNER
NPVR Data Directory : C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\NPVR
NPVR Program Directory : C:\Program Files\NPVR
Installing to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\NPVR
Download C:\mvpmc\NMTInstall.xml File Not Found (404)
NMTInstall.xml error

I found an old post regarding this, I think: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...nstall.xml
I think I have followed the dummies guide properly, here is the syntax check:
