DVB-T scanning issue - found all but 1 (ABC) TV Network

I'm having issues with NextPVR finding the ABC channels in Sydney. TVheadend found them with no issues. I've tried setting in config.xml to 10000 (default is 3000) but I don't think the app is actually using that setting as when I performed the scan, I see the line >>> Scanning 226500000 (the ABC frequency) changing in less than 10 seconds (around 3?)

Below is the console output when I run the scan manually. There appears to be a lock on the 226.5MHz but no stations found?

Need help with hardened docker setup

Hi all, I'm new to NextPVR and is trying to set it up using the docker amd64 image. With the below docker config, everything works fine

These settings appear to cause nextpvr to break. The container starts ok and the web UI responds. However when I try to play a live tv channel (DVB), it fails. Any ideas?
Both DVB tuners are world accessible

Linux DVB-S/DVB-S2 scan problem after Proxmox reinstall

I'm experiencing a strange DVB-S/DVB-S2 issue with NextPVR on Linux.

Hardware

The problem
This setup worked correctly in the past.
After reinstalling my Proxmox host and restoring my environment, NextPVR no longer works correctly under Linux.
Using the same tuner hardware, NextPVR under Windows works perfectly. It finds all channels and Live TV and recordings work without any issues.
Under Linux, however, NextPVR is unable to find many DVB-S channels, especially the German private SD channels (RTL, SAT.1, ProSieben, Kabel Eins, Tele 5, etc.) during a channel scan.
Running the following command successfully finds all Astra 19.2°E (S19E2) transponders and channels:

However, importing/scanning this

in NextPVR still results in many DVB-S channels not being detected.
I have also tested native on debian 12 linux and other Linux DVB applications.
For example, EasyVDR under Docker is able to tune and watch the missing channels successfully using the same hardware/sytem.

Summary

This setup worked correctly before reinstalling Proxmox.
The same tuner hardware works perfectly with NextPVR under Windows.

Unable to add Schedules Direct guide data

I am new to NextPVR, but I'm trying to get it set up as a replacement to an aging Windows Media Center CableCARD system with a Ceton InfiniTV. I've been using Schedules Direct successfully with epg123 and WMC for several years now, and I have an active subscription that I can't seem to add in NextPVR. When I log in to SD and attempt to refresh, nothing shows up under EPG sources. I think the logs are telling me that SD is blocking my attempt to pull lineup data, but I'm having a difficult time figuring out for sure where my issue is.

For background, I am running NextPVR in Podman on a Rocky 9 system (I have also tested in Docker proper, same issue). The container can access network resources, because it sees the tuners over the network and correctly scans for channels. I was working on getting this set up a couple weeks ago when I hit the SD snag and then let it sit for a long stretch until now, so any temporary (24-48h) blocks by SD should be over. I can provide any additional information that the logs don't show, obviously. Thanks in advance for the help!

I have been running various versions of NextPVR in a Docker container for a while and yesterday added a new disk to my existing installation to give me some additional recording space . I restarted the docker container and all seemed well. Just for completeness I had a look around the various persistent storage locations to see that things were appearing where I thought they should be. My Docker Compose file looks like:

The 'recordings' is disabled by choice, all my recordings are saved to folders within the 'local' folder for later post-processing, which is working fine.

Checking the Config folder (/mnt/disk1/npvr/config) I seem to have a load (currently 24) files named core.nnnnnn where nnnnnn is variable number between 876 and 115076 all dated between 17:55 and 17:56 yesterday which is when i restarted the container.

NextPVR seems to be running correctly with no other issues I am aware of. What might be creating these files and can I get rid of them ? This might have been happening for a while, I just haven't seen these files before now.

It worked on a previous version without any issue. Other channels using the same provider work fine.

I have tested the ABC IPTV Streams in VLC and they works fine as well.

Can't add new iptv device+other weird problems?

Hello,
I installed NextPVR on my VPS using docker which worked just fine.
Then I added a new iptv device and imported channles using XC or however it's called.
The login I used has thousand of channels, which might have been too much for nextpvr...
It imported all channels but when I tried to click "save", nothing happened. I closed the setup window and also reloaded the interface page and after some time I saw two iptv devices. One with I think about 16000 channels and one with a little more than 3000 channels. Anyways, thinks have been weird since then: Under "Channels" in the settings page it didn't show me any channels at first, in the "Channels" Tab on the main interface page there where no channels too and when I tried top schedule a recording, no channels where available as well.
I tried deleting my iptv devices, but that didn't work (Ctrl. --> delete did nothing).
Anyways, I removed nextpvr and installed again, but now I can't add a new iptv. The areas ist just blank.

What can I do?

SATIP Channel scan returns no channels on 7.0.5

Upgrading to 7.0.5 appears to have broken the ability to scan for channels on my SATIP server. The scan proceeds through all the muxes on 28.2E but zero channels are found. Previous versions did find channels and a test downgrade to 7.0.1.xxx (docker pull nextpvr/nextpvr_amd64:prerelease, all other container parameters unchanged) also finds channels as expected.

Logs are attached from immediately after the channel scan.

As an aside would it be possible to have the previous version kept on Docker Hub for reversion purposes.

Tinyurl xml giving error

Updated from 7.03 to 7.05 using docker stable, but getting an error with XML. I have been using tinyurl.com URLs made from boss for m3u and xml, and never had issues before, but getting issues today with xml only while m3u working. overlapping streams

When I start more than one stream, the streams overlap with each other, on the second device I see the same stream as on the first device or vice versa
My base operating system is Debian 13. I have also tested this with different operating systems such as Unraid and others, and the behavior is always the same.

If I only watch a single stream or make one recording, it works perfectly. As soon as I start a second stream or recording, the overlapping issue happens.

Is there a setting I can check or adjust for this?

No nvenc option

There appears to be no option in the settings menu to choose nvenc ? only "vaapi" and "cpu" is present and this causes issues with some of my streams.
i probed ffmpeg inside the container and this is the output ....

I also tried to delete the container adding "--gpus all" nvidia to runtime and -e variables NVIDIA_VISIBLE_DEVICES=all

Im kind of at a loss and I Dont know what else to do .

Error deleting groups when importing with XC

I have a new server I am standing up using truenas as the backend. Using nextpvr via docker, I am importing my IPTV using XC (my provider doesn't supply m3u directly anymore). I have no issues downloading the channels/guide but if I try to filter the groups on import, a popup shows up stating 'error!'. This only happens if I modify the groups. If I retick 'select all' at the top of the list, then the import happens no problem. It's only an error when I untick any of the groups. This is unfortunate as I only need a few select groups from the list and I get too much bloat otherwise (causing timeouts in my clients)

Issue with scanning DVB-T channels

I have TBS 6281SE v2 + unraid + docker nextpvr, my tuners are detected properly but when I go to scan channels nothing is detected, it shows

but nothing is detected, same machine, same card in Windows nextpvr works fine. I tried to copy npvr.db3 from windows data and then I got channels there but it does not work so I'm attaching logs, maybe you can help me with this.

I tried to scan inside docker:
