Hello,
Tonight it came to my attention that this time it was my machine acting up. My provider informed me that I was using more then the connections I was allowed. I was not recording at the time between 9 to 9:30 pm. When I rebooted the computer all connections went to zero. This is now the second time happening on two different machines in different locations. The logs provided are from after rebooting. I hope these help. If not the next time I will save the logs before rebooting.
THank you for you time.
Bruce
Hello'
This is my first time using nextpvr and I wonder if it's possible to use sources to add cable providers like channels dvr? Or is there another program I'm missing.
However, it is not detecting a new episode airing this Sunday night:
Code:
Rick and Morty
11/5/2023 11:00 PM - 11:30 PM
That's Amorte (S07E04) A sociopathic scientist arrives at his daughter's doorstep 20 years after disappearing and moves in with her family, setting up a laboratory in the garage and taking his grandson on wild adventures across the universe.
[Animated, Action, Adventure, Comedy]
Originally Aired: 11/5/2023
As you can see the EPG entry does have an original airdate of 11/5. Is the scheduler using original airdate or some other flag to determine new episodes? Is this an EPG data problem?
I pull my guide data from a xmltv source which contains hundreds (if not thousands) of channels. Most times it's like finding a needle in a haystack to locate a particular channel. Auto map won't as number don't match and names are off a bit i suspect. Possible to add a feature to filter the channel list to manually map channels?
Martin,
Is there any reason/benefit to use the path substitution when running yauiclient on the server?
I do use the path substitution on my client machines.

Greetings, I'm encountering difficulties syncing NextPVR on my iPhone, iPad, and AppleTV. The app doesn't seem to be communicating properly with the server. I'd really like to see localised dates...unless I have missed something in configuration somewhere, it seems dates (in the web UI at least) are always US format:
10/31/2023 for today for example..
For anyone outside of the US and just a few other countries, that is wrong, and in the first 10 days of the month, often very confusing.
Would be great to either have a choice of localised dates (31/10/2023) - or for it at least to be shown in unambiguous 'computer format' i.e. YYYY-MM-DD
I have just installed a second SATIP server on my network (a Kathrein).
Previously NextPVR shared two of the tuners from my first SATIP server (a Megasat which feeds my SageTV machine).
NextPVR recognises the Kathrein, will scan channels with it. But I copied the channel list across from one of the Megasat tuners and any channels that it were scanned with the Megasat, nPVR tries to tune with it even when the Megasat is
1) disabled in the nPVR devices page
2) removed in the nPVR devices page
3) removed in the nPVR devices page and power unplugged.
The SATIP servers are different brands and on different (fixed) IP addresses 192.168.1.112 (Megasat) and 192.168.1.20 (Kathrein).
Logs are attached showing an unsuccessful attempt to tune BBC One EastHD (times out because it can't start the device) and a successful attempt to tune 7seven (a channel I added to the listing for this purpose).
I think the answer is no, but is there any way for uidroid to adjust the playback volume of a recording?
Using the TiVo Stream 4K, I am pretty consistently finding the the volume of recording playback via uidroid is a decent amount lower than the volume of other streaming apps like Netflix, YouTube, Prime, etc. So when I switch back and forth between them, I always have to adjust the TV's volume level.
I've noticed it at home, but the volume difference isn't terrible. Here in NC, it seems to be quite a bit different--such that changing to the other app causes it to be really loud. At home, we just use the TV's built-in speakers, so it is only stereo. Here, I've got a separate amp and 5.1 surround speakers. And I'm wondering if that could be part of the problem/difference. I guess for a test, I could try just using the TV's built-in speakers here and see if the volume differences are smaller.
Let me know if you have any thoughts about the situation. Thanks!
