Today I clicked on NPVR Web Client and saw my TV Guide emptied with the last programs being listed at 2: AM today.
Rescanned my devices and remapped everything and click on updating EPG. It shows the following : EPG Update complete. [871 inserted, 0 updated, 21045 skipped]
Went to Grace TV Website and logged in and tried again with the same results.
Looks similar to what happened to when Zap2it went offline.
enclosed my NPVR.zip files to see is any errors are showing. Also this happened after updating Windows to the latest version yesterday. Not sure if that has anything to do with it or not.
Also updated NPVR to the latest version with the same results.
EDIT: Deleted the attachment NPVR Log file due to Moderator warning me it had some personal information in it. I got the file by clicking on NPVR Settings - "Log Files". I thought it would just download the regular NPVR logs without any personal information on it. My error.
I'm now regularly seeing a DVB-T tuner remaining locked after a daily EPG update. This is not every day but regularly.
It is not happening with EPG update on DVB-S tuners.
On a good day, on EPG update the dvb-t tuner log shows:-
When using the desktop app, and selecting the "Videos" tab, is it possible to have a cover image of the selected movie file displayed instead of the yellow folder icon?
I have a hundred or so movie files stored there and would like to see something similar to what shows in the web app.
I have a HDHomeRun HDHR5-4DT-R tuner and Schedules Direct EPG.
Everything works perfectly, except one of the channels, TV2 Kosmopol, aren't included in the Schedules Direct EPG.
So I want to use the DVB EPG for that.
Unfortunately, that is not an option in the Edit Channel Details dropdown.
Is it possible to set it up so I use the DVB EPG for this one channel, and if so, how?
I had been running the 7.01 version of NextPVR Server on my Win7 system (which is the production mode of that machine, in support of Windows Media Center). No problem.
Today I saw there was a 7.02 version so I ran the usual NPVRSetup.EXE to upgrade to this latest version. And the upgrade ran successfully (supposedly).
However when I then tried to run it, I received an error advising "d3d12.dll missing from system":
Doing a search for this missing module, it appears it IS present on Win10/Win11 systems, but not Win7.
Is there anything that can be done to resolve this? Or is NextPVR Server 7.02 and newer simply no longer available for running in Win7?
I can restore the previously working 7.01 on my Win7 production system if I have to, and simply never move on from there, but I'd certainly prefer to remain current if possible.
In the settings/channels if I uncheck a channel (to prevent it from showing in the guide), once I leave the page, the channel becomes checked again. I do not see a "save" button so I expected it to save when I exit the page.
Please advise what I am missing or how I can force the software to save the unchecked state of a channel or if there is a better way to keep a channel from showing in the guide listing.
Am trying to figure out if i can use the ScheduleDirect Lineup as the source for my Guide, without needing to record any of the shows. I just want the guide.
I do have other IPTV sources plugged in, those channels show up in the guide.
So the SD ID for the lineup would be USA-DNOW602-X (it's a JSON lineup)
I used to use a HDHomeRun, but Mediacom closed down the ClearQam cable, so that device is no longer usable in this household, so i switched over to Directv Stream.
I use NPVR to record mainly HD TV in the UK, using a pair of Hauppage WinTV-dualHD DVB devices. While the recordings are fairly high quality, each typically has a handful of "glitches" where the sound and image are disrupted for about 1s. I have confirmed that the glitches are present in the original MPEG-2 files exported by NPVR, and are not an artefact of the conversion to MP4 although this can make the fault a bit more "obvious".
The glitches occur on all channels, although they are rarer on SD recordings. We rarely if ever see the same issue on live TV, so it's not related to quality or strength of original signal.
The recording system has a 12-core gen 11 i7 processor with 32GB RAM and is usually lightly loaded at common recording times, so system capacity is unlikely to be an issue.
The glitches also occurred on my old i7-based system. However in December through January this year I temporarily moved recording to a much older system with a Xeon processor (using the same tuners and signal source), and the frequency of glitches was noticeably much lower. This suggests to me that there might be some oddity specific to the combination of hardware, or other software on the newer system.
What I'd appreciate at this stage is guidance on how to log NPVR and related activity so we can find out what's happening when a glitch occurs, and if NPVR offers any diagnosis of the issue. Unless I'm missing something there are no obvious "log level" settings in the NPVR client or web settings, is that correct?
Hey everyone. I know there is an app that connects to your Nextpvr server so that you can ch3ck on it and everything. But, does anyone know it is it possible to connect to the Nextpvr server and recording shows on a mobile browser like Chrome browser on your phone?
Thanks for the new Release.
At the top of the list of features is:
- Added a Search feature to the artwork selection popup in the web app.
Can someone provide instructions on how to access this feature?
