Can someone help? I have been trying to fix npvr for some time now. My xmltv file download link is in settings/guide as required. This used to produce a guide for Kodi and npvr. However, since the xmltv files have gone to a 5 digit format, it seems that I can change the guide to xmltv in Settings/channels, but no mapping is produced. How do I fix this? Thanks. Logs attached. Forgive me, as I am a first time poster.
I moved Nextpvr to a new server along with the usb drive containing the recordings. Now nextpvr can't find the recordings. Iverified the path, nextpvr has ownership of the recordings folder and I verified the UID for the folder owner (nextpvr) is correct . nextpvr still can't find the files. I just noticed that the recording list is not updating when I delete a folder then restart the server. I deleted a hole folder for a series, restarted the server and the program is still in the recording list. It looks to me like nextpvr is looking in the wrong location, even though the drive is mounted at the same point in the new system as it was on the old one. How can I fix that?
I am just getting to grips with key remaps in the clientstore.xml files.
I think that I am getting the hang of it however a successful remap generates an Android notification bubble.
I am using a Harmony hub based remote to control an NVidia Shield. The clientstore file shows that nine of the remote keys are not recognised: KeyCode-F1 to KeyCode-F9. I can remap these in the clientstore as expected. For example:
Code:
<KeyCode-F7>112</KeyCode-F7>
So that: Remote button "Guide" -> Keycode-F7 -> F1 (.net code 112) -> Display TV guide
This works, Uidroid displays the TV guide. However the ShieldTV is displaying a notification bubble with
Quote:KEYCODE_F7 65 137
Displayed for around 2 seconds (image below).
Because I am using an app to switch refresh rates on the fly I am running the Shield with Developer options (for USB debugging and Network debugging) turned on, but temporarily turning them off didn't make a difference. Nor did switching off permissions to display over other apps make a difference.
Is this a setting in either Uidroid, NextPVR or something I've missed in the AndroidTV system that I can turn off to prevent this.
Hi
How can I empty the logo cache fully and start new download of the logos? It seems some logos still stick on my system.
I run nextpvr on a lxc under proxmox.
In my ongoing quest to ease the eventual transition from Windows Media Center to NextPVR for my wife, I'm looking for a way to reprogram the iconic Green Button on a WMC remote, which is used to launch WMC from the desktop, to instead launch NextPVR.exe.
Now, I'm aware that this is a pretty "niche" topic and there doesn't seem to be a whole lot about it on the Web, or even on this forum. So, rather than direct instructions specific to NPVR, I've been looking around the Web for directions that I might adapt from some other application, but have come up empty. I found instructions for pairing a WMC remote to (or from) some other remote by using a transmitter. I discovered the Advanced MCE Remote Mapper, but after launching it I didn't see any self-evident way to change what the Green Button does. I also came across something called EventGhost, but most of the documentation details are locked away in a community forum that was taken down at some point and is only in the process of being brought back.
None of these appear to be suited to what I need to do. I learned that the Green Button calls the shortcut Win+Alt+Enter, but this doesn't help me much since that's precisely what I want to replace with a combination that instead will launch the NPVR UI client.
Took a look at the KeyMappings.xml file, but I wouldn't know what to add or change there to do what's needed. I saw a reference somewhere to a Key Mappings section in Settings, but I have yet to find it in the settings for either the web client or the UI client.
Chances are I'm simply not expert enough to figure this out on my own. Hoping that someone reading this will be.
i have successfully installed the image and get to login page localhost:8866 but i get login failed for regular admin/password
hence i have change my config.xml file to this to allow remote since docker image may see my local web as remote still ..no success
any idea ?
example of config file etsablished below- docker restart then xcode/NpvrTest123! ---> still login failed
I just built a new server (an N100) and will retire the old Pentium duo G3240. It streams to my 1 Firestick just fine, but guide, menu and thumbnail lag is driving me crazy. It's especially slow updating the program guide as I set new programs to record. So how do I get UI droid on my firestick to change to the new server? Also, how do I get to UIDroide settings? Not sure why I cant find that answer since I asked it before. But I don't see it in my search results.
On the NextPVR server on Settings > General > Recording Thumbnails it's set to While Recording and using the web /uiclient I can see and use them by pressing the arrow keys.
But using Kodi with the nextpvr client add-in I don't see them. Is there some other setting needed?
