I see this topic come up occasionally but the issues discussed don't seem to address my problem.
I have a few recurring recordings ("all episode" or "keyword") set up. I also have prevent duplicates disabled in the config as I deliberately want shows to record more than once as a hedge against a bad recording.
However for certain recurring recordings I will delete some upcoming individual scheduled events because I know I don't want that episode.
Whether I do this from the local settings / web interface on my PC or from my KODI client, it makes no difference - the recording appears to delete, and disappear from the timers list, but somehow it will later reappear and the recording still happens. This appears to be a 100% occurrence in my case, i.e. the deletion always appears successful, but in fact is never successful and the recording always still occurs.
I've attached my logs which should show several deletions of upcoming recordings and also show that they still happened.
I'm currently using SageTV to manage my TV addiction. Due to some recent cablebox issues, I may need to find ways to either tune the RF boxes that would likely replace my current IR-controlled boxes, or acquire shows on my non-OTA channels via IPTV. I'm not sure that's even possible, though, hence my completely uninformed questions. I have looked at the Wiki, and did not find the info I'm looking for. Clearly, I'm lacking some pre-requisite knowledge.
I installed NextPVR on a spare PC (on Windows 10 Provessional) for testing. I was able to scan my ancient HDHomeruns just to play with the system, but really want to see if I can somehow integrate web-based access to my provider. I use Xfinity, and can access its Xfinity stream site through my browser. But it's not at all clear how (or if) to use that as a NextPVR's IPTV device. The IPTV setup asks for a URL of a M3U file. How do I generate such a file, both in general, and (if it's possible) for Xfinity stream?
Hello,
I had DVB/ATSC EPG in NextPVR and it was missing the programming for a couple of channels. I subscribed to Schedules Direct and changed over the EPG source to Schedules Direct as per the 2 minute video available on YouTube. All the fields in the EPG now show (no show details). What is strange is I have gone back to DVB/ATSC source, and I am still unable to populate the EPG data. So I am stuck.......
I have uninstalled and re-installed NextPVR but it has not changed anything.
Hey guys. I've had success with the install, local storage works well, and the interface is substantially faster than the windows one I've been working with.
The problem I'm having is getting access to the QNAP NAS drive. I've done everything I can think of. The drive is shared in the QNAP, I use NEXTPVR for the user account and I've given full access R/W to the entire TEMP2 directory and shared it with the user. (Information in the FSTAB file below)
I've been out of the loop for a long time but I'm coming back to npvr.
What's a good xmltv grabber to use for UK Freeview? I used Alan Birtles' Radio Times grabber in the past but that was on Windows and my new server is running linux.
I was having major issues with NextPVR so I decided to reset everything by deleting config.xml and npvr.db. Since I used XC method before I thought I would try importing an m3u file instead. So I figured out how to create the m3u file. The import seemed to go okay. However when I click on any of the channels I get this error: No tuner was available for the requested channel. Logs are attached. Can you help troubleshoot?
I'm using nextpvr with jellyfin which I share with family. I have more connection with my provider than nextpvr allows. Sometimes especially watching sports events, The 32 limit becomes an issue.
While I can bypass nextpvr, jellyfin isn't as stable because if multiple clients are watching the same channel and the first client that connects quits, The stream closes for all other clients too.
I'm assuming the "<FFRWBehaviour>Fast Play</FFRWBehaviour>" in my config.xml should allow a smooth FF/RW? I'm playing with recordings through my generic Android TV box and I can only seem to get skip style forward/backward jumps. Should it work?
Does anyone know why my recordings are grouped correctly in the NextPVR web client, but in the Jellyfin plugin, a couple of shows have been grouped under "others"
