The audio will distort after watch live TV for a period of time ranging from a few minutes to about an hour on the web interface of NextPVR on Chromium browser. Problem
When watching Live TV or recordings using the NextPVR web interface in Chromium-based browsers, the audio eventually becomes robotic/distorted.
The time before the problem appears is random. Sometimes it takes only a few minutes, sometimes much longer.
The video continues to play normally while only the audio becomes distorted.
What I have tested

Troubleshooting performed
I have tried the following without success:
Disabled browser hardware acceleration.
Enabled "Avoid transcoding where possible".
Disabled "Avoid transcoding where possible".
Tested using different audio devices:
Creative Pebble V3 (USB audio)
Lenovo L32p-30 monitor speakers (HDMI audio)
Installed the K-Lite Codec Pack.
The problem still occurs.
Additional testing
To rule out a hardware or Windows-specific problem, I tested a second Windows 11 PC with completely different hardware: PC #1

I collected a Chromium media-internals log and a Network trace while troubleshooting.
I don't know how to interpret these logs, but I'm happy to upload them if they would be useful.

My new DVB-T2 stick installed OK and I can view various channels on supplied software TVRPlayer.
NPVR doesn't find any channels on the detected device. I don't know what is going wrong.

I have no logs to provide because this is a question about NextPVR behavior, and not any actual problem I'm having.
In working with this I am finding that when setting up an IPTV import via Xtream credentials, that Next does not honor the channel numbering in the Xtream feed (that I know exists, because I made the feed), but rather finds the highest number currently existing, adds 1, and numbers sequentially from there.
I found that my requests to view stuff on a lot of channels were being denied because of a weird user-agent ban. So, I made a repo which appends the VLC user-agent header to the m3u file and dumps it in the /out/ directory using Github Actions; all sources are the same as reaperc's list, so if sources there go down, they'll go down here too.
I haven't had much time to test it, but at least it seems that NHK G/E, TV Asahi, etc... work. Maybe I'll change which user-agent it uses in the future, but if it works, there's no need to fix it lol
I recently updated nextpvr from version 7.0 to version 7.1. Version 7.0 had been working properly with no issues at all. After I upgraded to version 7.1 I began to heve guide related issues. I got frustrated to the point where I reformatted the SSD and installed a brand new copy of Ubuntu 22.04.5 and nextpvr. The issues persisted. I next tried a clean install with Ubuntu 24.04.4 and nextpvr. Not only did the same issues persist but now there was an additional memory leak to contend with.
1. scheduled recordings are broken, I keep getting [Failed: HDHR stream not available]
2. When a TV show that I'm watching gets to the end, it stops and drops to the TV guide instead of playing the next show.
3. I can't get rid of the Silicondust EPG. The trash icon turns red when clicked, but nothing happens.
4. I have the timeshift setting at 120 minutes and the Ubuntu 24 memory leak occurs when a channel is left on for a day. Eventually the PC reboots due to "OOM" out of memory. I installed a dynamic memory manager "swapspace", which showed that virtual memory was getting over 300GB, dotnet appeared to be the issue.
The problem
This setup worked correctly in the past.
After reinstalling my Proxmox host and restoring my environment, NextPVR no longer works correctly under Linux.
Using the same tuner hardware, NextPVR under Windows works perfectly. It finds all channels and Live TV and recordings work without any issues.
Under Linux, however, NextPVR is unable to find many DVB-S channels, especially the German private SD channels (RTL, SAT.1, ProSieben, Kabel Eins, Tele 5, etc.) during a channel scan.
Running the following command successfully finds all Astra 19.2°E (S19E2) transponders and channels:

I have also tested native on debian 12 linux and other Linux DVB applications.
For example, EasyVDR under Docker is able to tune and watch the missing channels successfully using the same hardware/sytem.
Summary
This setup worked correctly before reinstalling Proxmox.
The same tuner hardware works perfectly with NextPVR under Windows.

Two weeks ago was watching Soccer on two different TV's using NextPVR client v5 via my Windows 11 PC. Today using the same credentials "NAME", Enabled, NextPVR Hostname = ip address of PC, 8866, and PINcode. All these items confirmed on all four of my TV's (and have not been changed) and the PC itself. None of the TV's NextPVR will connect to the server. The Local copy of NextPVR on the PC is working fine. I've switched network from Public to Private and back. I have maybe 5 or 6 hairs left on the top of my head. Log file from PC attached. Not sure where to find log file, if one, on KODI.
I was given a simple request by my wife.
"How do I record a program Monday, Wednesday and Friday skipping Tuesday & Thursday which are repeats of old programmes".
(without setting up 3 separate repeating recordings)
I said use the Advanced Scheduling but then hit a snag.
I don't see anything in the wiki that gives a full description of the syntax or options that are needed to be entered in the rule.
I went to Kodi as I thought there was a similar option there in the Timers but I only see a setting under Timer reminders not recordings.
Can anybody give me the syntax to use in the Advance Schedule settings please?.
