I'm having some success with the DVB-T Radio plugin (as in it mostly works for me). ACTCMS has been testing it but is seeing various issues that I'm not.
In particular, playback of the radio station stops after maybe 10-20 seconds.
The method I'm using for this is an external exe to build a simple graph (BDA components -> demux -> audio dec. -> LAME enc. -> File Writer). The file is named gbnetradio-0.mp3 and I let it buffer for a few seconds before using PlayAudio() from within the plugin.
Looking at a pvrx2.exe.log from ACTCMS, it contains the following...
Code:
2007-12-18 11:36:46.203 VERBOSE [1] Song ended. Checking if there are more songs to play.
The exe is still running and the mp3 file continues to grow.
What criteria are used by PVRX2 to decide this and why don't I see this behaviour?
The GBPVRRecordingService is using ~47,500k on my machine. This is by far the most resource intensive service running. I am curious if this is what others are experiencing or if this is bloated on my machine?
Can some of you that have switched from XP to Vista give me your feedback on whether it was a good move or bad move. Is EVR worth the switch? Any major headaches with vista over XP? My system should handle it fine but wasn't sure if it's worth the effort as I have no real issues other than I'm curious with EVR.
Hi Guys,
I'm sure someone can point me in the right direction. I did a quick search and didn't find anything.
For the last year I need to restart GBPVR about once a day due to black screen (no video - just audio). It seems to happen after playing 10 (+/-) shows. I've never checked to see how consistent it is. It never bothered me to much but recently the wife threw out the T**o word and I then new it was more annoying to her than I previously thought.
Any suggestions of where to start looking for fixing this?
Could it be a codec issue?
I've got a Twinhan 1020A card and would like to get it going with GBPVR. I can scan for channels and it gets quite a few of them. I am trying to use "DVB EPG Broadcast", it asks if I want to update the EPG so I say yes. It appears to try but then just goes away no channels show up. When I open GBPVR and go to live tv it says I can't because the is no EPG setup. I am trying to use Mdapi and EMunation as well but I don't beleive I am that far yet. I do get the mdapi icon at the bottom but when I right click it doesn't list anything about Emunation.
Hello,
I was wondering what are my options for TV out from my PC.
What kind of hardware I need to setup GBPVR to send video from the PC to the tv. Currently I have MVP but it is slow and annoying. I was thinking of switching to Powermid wireless tansceiver. I know in the past who ever had Haup 350 could do that but I only have 2 Haup150 cards.
My video card is Radeon 700 with s-video out but what about audio? And is there a way to set it up to only output video from GBPVR?
There are 10 of us that have windows xp laptops and we need an automatic way to do incremental backups during the day. We have used ghost in the past but I'm guessing there is probably something better out there. I'd like to do something easy like a couple of network attached storage drives. Right now everyone has a portable drive, but no one actually uses it often enough.
If you guys have some thoughts on this, let me know.
I can see that when this option is enabled in the config application, keyboard input is correctly interpreted but it doesn't work when I use PostMessage to 32775, all the other keys work OK, but no cycling a,b,c etc..
My remote control method uses postmessage to communicate with gbpvr, without it having to have focus.
Can I make this work on PostMessage as well as keyboard input?
