I have a PVR-150MCE and a AverMedia M780 card. Sometimes when I watch LiveTV using the AverMedia M780 card, I get terrible stuttering, which will sometimes get better, and other times get to the point that the sound goes away.
I do not get this with the PVR-150MCE card. I also do not get it when I watch a recording that was recorded off the M780 card.
The only error I can see that would have to do with the problem is in the pvrx2-native logs.
Code:
2007-09-06 23:55:26.579 VERBOSE ConnectPins: 'Analog Audio' to 'TVAudio In'
2007-09-06 23:55:26.579 ERROR Failed to route audio crossbar
2007-09-06 23:55:26.594 VERBOSE ConnectPins: 'Audio Decoder Out' to 'Analog Audio Input'
Has anyone seen this error? Obviously I'm using this as an alternate guide data source but it keeps crashing on me. I tried various compatibility modes but it only made it worse.
I'm finding that PVRX2 is not very friendly to users who don't control it via a remote control. It took some searching to find that the "search" feature is still available by pressing F1 when looking at the guide. Why not have a mouse target for it or at least a visible menu option so that users know it is there?
Also, when playing recorded programs the on-screen controls to let you pause, etc have disappeared.
In the meantime, I'll need to memorize keyboard shortcuts but the new interface is definitely more awkward for mouse-users. I'd like to see some of the mouse targets reintroduced into PVRX2.
I'm fairly new to GB-PVR and am trying to get the MusicLibrary2 plugin to work. I have downloaded the latest version (1.0.16) of GB-PVR and the latest beta version of MusicLibrary2. After installing the plugin i have copied the MusicLibrary2.dll and ML3Panel.dll to the \plugins directory as instructed. However, I cannot get it to work. When I click on MusicLibrary2 menu item from the main menu (I'm using GBPVR.exe) I get a popup with the error - "Object reference not set to an instance of an object". I am attaching the log file below.
I have gone thru a lot of posts and tried various suggestions including uninstalling/reinstalling GB-PVR, Musiclibrary2 several times with no success.
I go into "config", and click on "update EPG" and I get one - exactly one - hour of programs.
I started seeing this early August. I originally thought it was just the last dying gasp of Zap2It, so I paid my $15 and joined SchedulesDirect - same problem.
Here's the logs, but below is the error you'll see when you read them. I see no way to "change" my "format". I've downloaded all the new DLLs from Survivor's Guide thread, too trying "Shotgun Approach". (BackendCommon.dll, PVRx2.dll, NativeUtilities) Nothing works.

I just upgraded to 1.0.16 from 0.94.13 (only because of the death of Zap2it) and now it won't cancel recordings while they're recording. Is it supposed to do this or is this a bug? Also, what happened to being able to watch a recording in progress?
I have bought the AverMedia AverTV DVB-T Volar which is a USB-stick type of card, but try as I might, I cannot get it to work with GBPVR... Can anyone help? I have tried editing the BDA.INI file and put the Tuner and Capture values from FilterCheck; it lets me add the card but then cannot find any channels. If I try the Tuning Assistant it then says it cannot find any Crossbar filters.... Has anyone else a clue how I can use this card with this software? Many thanks. Nick
