does this program allow you to export the video into various formats like mp4 or avi etc... so if i want to bring a show i recorded, and put it into a video editing program like adobe premire for editing, i could, does it allow you to capture video from other things such as old vhs tapes, etc.... thanks for any info about this, i am thinking of buying the hauappeg 150mce capture card and putting it in my amd 3200+, 1 gig of ram, radeon 9600 pro system with an 80 gig hard drive, it has an n-force 2 chipset, is this good enough? are there any problems that anyone know of with this setup?
I tried to install the software, and just got a couple of rather useless error messages, then the installer quit. I have attached screen shots of the error messages. Anyone know what whats wrong?
That last one said FATAL ERROR, installation ended prematurely because of an error. I had to take it out of the word doc because it made my file 2k too big to post here.
I just installed .99.5 from .96 so I installed .NET 2.0 and used the convert database program. I did very little testing and it seemed to work right.
My wife told me it is not working on the MVP. She can look at the TV Guide and see the recorded shows. When she trys to watch a show the MVP will lose connection and restart.
Any ideas were to look when I get home?
Been using GBPVR for the last 3 months or so and everything has been working great with 0.9808 but since I upgraded to 0.9905 today, Live TV no longer works. If I try to enter Live TV-mode GBPVR crashes with the following error message:
Recording still works fine and I can view my recordings just like before. I have tried switching between MPEG-2 decoders (Intervideo, NVIDIA Purevideo, Cyberlink and DScaler) but nothing seems to work. I've also tried uninstalling GBPVR and reinstalling the older version (0.9808) but the Live TV mode doesn't work in that version any more either!
My specs:
AMD Sempron 2400
256 mb ram
160 gig hd
A7N8X-VM/400
Radeon 9250
Technotrend C-1500 DVB-C Budget
I am also using the DVR-MS BDA-Multiplexer. Any ideas?
Perhaps this wills save others some time and grief.
Hauppauge has several WinTV PVR-150 models:
"Media Center Edition" (MCE) is slightly newer and more expensive, and includes an FM receiver (with a second coaxial cable input - for the included antenna) on the card.
"White box" means it is for OEM use, so does not come with the pretty packaging. It likely doesn't come with the IR Remote Control (which you may not need anyways). "Bundle" typically means it does come with the IR Remote Control.
"l.p." means Low Profile. This has a shorter card and bracket AND CAN ONLY BE MOUNTED IN LOW-PROFILE PC CASES (can you tell where I went wrong?). It does not include a user-changeable standard-height mounting bracket (as some other cards do). It uses a 1/8" connector for the audio input (other cards have RCA inputs for audio), and does not have the 1/8" input for a remote control receiver.
Then there are models for NTSC (North America) and models for PAL/SECAM (Europe and elsewhere).
ive got my covers named with the same name as my video files, in video library the "default" icon shows behind my cover. shouldent it be replaced if there is an image with the same name?
Howdy all...I've happily upgraded from 96.13 to 99.5 but I'm having one problem with the web interface.
My searches for shows via the web interface (on my internal 100MB network) are impossibly slow! I'm talking two or three minutes for a result to return and I always do get the result.
The old version wasn't snappy, taking about 30 sec, or so and I'm running what
I consider a marginal system as my server (XP 1600+, 512 MB ram. W2K SP4)
but I'm thinking this is not about hardware. I'm thinking maybe DB corruption?
I did do the upgrade from ms access to SQL Lite.
Is it possible to customize/change the mouse pointer the GBPVR software uses? I find the mouse pointer small on my telelevision, and would like to have a larger mouse pointer in the GBPVR software online. (This is the only software I use on the TV out).
I just had Dishnetwork installed. The unit is a model #322 Dual Tuner which uses IR for signal #1 and RF for Signal #2. Setting up Signal #1 with the IR is ok, but how can I control #2 which is RF? I'm using an Hauppage PVR150 and an TV Wonder Elite.
Is there an RF to IR converter out there to allow me to control signal #2 with the GBPVR software.
