The playlist stops after each song and I have to press play again and then skip to the next song.

Any ideas?

Hi all,
I really like RenameRecording, having the show and episode for the filename is wonderful!
But as a VideoReDo Plus user I didn’t like clicking through the errors, and manually searching for the renamed mpg when opening a renamed "Vprj" project file.

So I dusted off my 20-year old copy of QB4.5 and wrote this small utility. It simply changes the <Filename> (inside the Vprj) to point to the renamed mpg.
I’m using the current release of VideoReDo Plus (2.2.1.445-447). And the latest(?) version of RenameRecording (the one that gives show and episode name).

Installation is very simple.
copy FixVprj.exe to your GBPVR folder and add the lines from the sample PostProcessing.bat.


First, FixVprj.exe (with no argument) reads RenameRecording’s “rename.log” to get the renamed VRD project. It then creates a batch file that copies the project file to “VPRJ_IN.log” in the GBPVR folder.

Next, FixVprj.exe (with %~dpn1.mpg argument) verifies that the <Filename> in the Vprj and the “Drive:\Path\Filename.mpg” from GBPVR match.

If they do not match, nothing is overwritten.
If they do match, a new project is created "VPRJ_OUT.LOG" and batch copied over the one with the broken internal name.

The batch calls are needed because the thousand-year-old compiler I’m using doesn’t understand long filenames. I thought I’d risk the laughter and share it anyway, because others may find it useful.

I am trying to have my episodes renamed with the format "Program name - Episode name" and have this in my PostProcessing.bat (also tryed ParallelProcessing.bat)
renamerecording -t %1 > renamerecording.log
but it never runs. It works when I just type the command in but I want it done automatically.

Just found out that Zap2It has throttled back their service to 3 days. Well that's what they say anyway but now I snag just over one day from them!

What other options do we have in the US? I'm really getting tired of Zap2it mucking around with things.

Please help as this is REALLY affecting the WAF here.

I'm using a PVR-150 card with the IR blaster to control my cable box (and using .exe channel changer with haupblast plugin in GBPVR). Everything is working great, except that channels below 100 (i.e. 2 digit channels) are all mapped to channels in the 200s. Any channel 100 and above works fine with the blaster. I wouldn't be surprised if I have something configured wrong. I did a search but couldn't find any prior messages with similar issues. (I don't know if related at all, but in the TV guide screen, the channels are ordered first all below 100, then 200 and up, then 100 to 199.) Any suggestions? Many thanks.

Long time lurker - completed my first build about a month ago. This forum has helped me with many, many issues and is a great resource. Thank you to all who contribute.

Here is my problem: No changes in the last 2 weeks, but 2 days ago I noticed that the GBPVR screen (when displayed on the TV), now seems zoomed in, so about 1/4 of the buttons on the left of the Recordings menu are now "hidden" by the left edge of the TV bezel. The date and logo on the main screen are also truncated. (for instance I cannot see the year part of the date on the main screen - I only see 20 and not 2006)

Any ideas?

I have the HTPC running on a 36inch TV. I remote into the box using TightVNC to perform any tweaks/maintenance. When I do remote in, the "zoomed" effect is not present in any way - I assume VNC is taking care of that. I do run full screen and not windowed.

I tried finding a solution to this, but nothing so far.
When I use DVD2MPEG, it maked the .mpg fine, and plays back on the PC fine. But when playing on the MVP, if it is a Wide Screen movie, it fills the screen vertically, and the sides are missing. The aspect ratio is fine, it is just zoomed in WAY too much.

I just installed my pictures, I belive everything is in the right folders and also put the database file into the gbpvr dir.

Im getting this error "object reference not set to a instance of a object"

I was really sure what to do with the m/s access file or how to configue it in the plugin tab of confg gbpvr.

can anyone help me out

I had a problem with the XML Grabber so I upgraded to XMLTV Ver 3.02.01w
When I try and do an EPG update I get the error

failure in channel factory ;;storechannel():invaid argument

I am on ver 0.95.16 GBPVR.

I just bought a pvr 150 to add to my machine I already have a pvr 250. I added a new recording source using the same epg info as my 250 card. gbpvr tries to use the 150, but there is no video or sound. The 250 card is still working fine. I tried running wintv and it seems to work. in fact, I started wintv and then gbpvr and I could change the wintv channels when in gbpvr live tv. Is there something to setting up a seperate tuner that I am missing? Is there a log I cam look at or post?
