-Im wondering is there a site or chart to tell if your video is getting clearer or better ( barely with other settings ) or what your image should look like.
Like to tell if your moniter needs adjustments or something ..
If i use 1024x768 resolution on my moniter. I half to keep the tv at about 1/4th the screen. At full screen i can see lil uncrisp lines and a tad blurr.
Would hosting a small video clip of my recordings help? ( prolly not if its recording right just not showing me it)

I've been trying for hours to download the newest source from the link on the homepage of gbpvr. Right now it reaches 49% (3.6 meg) and stops. I have a 3MB DSL connection and downloaded a 30 meg file to test my own broadband. Is anyone else seeing this problem with this file:

When i try and get information from IMDB from Ravens MYVideos it picks my film e.g. Bad Boys but then when i click on ok it gives me a box that says

"Object reference not set to an instance of an object"

Any Ideas.

I tired setting up a network drive from my other computer so i could play the music through my music plug-in. Now i thought i had it all set up righ (the dirs and had it scan and find the music) but when i try to play any of the tracks i get the error "Error: exception of type invalidactivexstate exception was thrown. Any help guys??? Thanks a ton this site is great.

How do I sort out the overlap that happens with recordings?

I have my setup to be pre 5mins and post 25 minutes. but when a show happend immediately after another on a different channel, GBPVR uses the same TV card - why does it not choose teh second card to do the second show?

We have lost the end of lots of shows becuase of that. Is there a fix?

Im looking for a program ( preferably free/donate ) to edit my recordings commercials and stuff whatever i select.
And leave it in mpeg.
Also looking for a way to convert mpeg to other file types easilly.
Any ideas? Windows media file editor doesnt want to work with mpegs.

Currently I have a one PVR150MCE connected to my Dish Networks stb using S-video.

Because of recording conflicts, I want to add another PVR150 to receive OTA signals. I have an antenna in my attic that pics up local stations pretty clear for the most part, except for channel 7.

Because my Dish uses the same channel numbers as OTA, is there a way to map the OTA channel to a different number and still have the guide work and all that? If not, how will that work if I want to record something on channel 7 and both Dish and OTA have channel 7 available?

I'd rather have anything that's supposed to record, record from the Dish because I know the picture will always be clear. Give the Dish tuner priority #1 for live TV and recordings. If it's already recording, use the OTA tuner for additional recordings or live TV.

When i try to update the epg(same the first time i did) GB-PVR config freezes.
I do have 1 in but this morning at 7 it froze also.
Im wondering if its because there is 990 channels?... and i should cut down to a 150 or so.
Also i accidently added another device. ( mistake) and if i hit remove then go to ok to save. (and the gb-pvr config would normally close) it freezes up.
Im not sure how to fix that...
EDIT: i reduced the channels and it didnt freeze this time.. .. still no clue how to remove the device without it freezing tho

I have a DVB-T Hauppauge Nova-t PCI 90002 card.

I tested Cyberlink mux successfully although the sound is shifted 0.5 seconds.

I would like to test in mode TS to improve PVAStrumento software but the recording file remains to 0k!

Which BDA mux I must use ?
