Just installed GB-PVR on my A7V333 with Hauppauge PVR-250. Installed the latest PVR250 drivers as suggested. Read the FAQ and examined the forum, but still have some problems. PC is according to specs, with Directx 9b.

1) How to configure channels that are offset (e.g. 48-- or 65++)? (channel manager won't find them)
2) When I click Live TV, the recording begins (mpg file is getting larger) but nothing on screen. Sometimes it starts after a minute or what. Already changed the DVD MPEG playback settings, no effect.

Any ideas?

Where abouts in the world are you?

I suggest trying the tuning assistant to see if it locates the channels you expect.

Some European countries (netherlands etc) have some channels on non-standard frequencies. To enable these channels to be tuned in, you'll need to use the Microsoft frequency override registry settings. This has been discussed in the past. The search button is in the top right corner of web page.

I'm in the netherlands. Found the frequency registry override topic, will try it tonight. (freqcopy.zip).

update: just hacked the registry as by Microsoft, added all offset channels. Re-installed GB-PVR. It shows the channels fine now, no more snow. [Image: smile.gif]
But live watching still doesn't work. It starts recording, nothing happens on screen for a minute or so. Then, the recording appears on screen and plays, also for a minute or so. Then, everything stops. Buffer goes from 1% to 0%. Have 50GB free. Oh, and the OSD also doesn't appear. Only the name of the station and buffer.

So, any idea's what this could be? I read most LiveTV topics but none seems to describe this problem [Image: rock.gif]
