Divx Conversion

After finally getting audio on my xvid & divx conversions, is it possible to pinpoint why the quality of my xvid and divx is not upto par. Th edivx looks pixelated and the xvid quality has the image warping ? Any solutions ?

What's the file size difference between the original and the XviD transcode?
