Hi

Using GBPVR ver 9413
Installed My Videos 4.1.0.10

Great stuff, have everything working as I want, but have a problem or 2.
I use an extermal player Zoomplayer 4.x

Many of my movies are split up in 2 or 3 files. Using My Vidoes and selecting the folder it shows the filenames of the movie xample x-files_the_movie_part1.avi and the other x-files_the_movie_part2.avi

Question. I can only select one at a time so when (I use zoomplayer) so when i done playing the first one I have to select the next manualy to se the rest of the movie.

Before GBPVR I used myHTPC with the same Zoomplayer. In myHTPC i could set up so it would play all files in a specific folder. But I don't seem to find this option in my Videos settings.

Am I missing something or is it not an option (whisch is a shame)
Best Regards
Eddie

you can only automatically play split file (by using the stacking option) when playing them in gbpvr. i wont be changing this (theres to many variables to take into account with every single media player application there is).

Hi

Tried the stacking option, but it dosn't seem to work.
Is there a way to combine the split files into one file?

stacking does work, only inside gbpvr, the filenames have to be similar
simple stacking - requires
[blah blah blah] - [cd|disc|part|] 1
series requires
[show] - [episode name or whatever]
random
well random.

eg for a split movie
"Star Wars - Disc 1.avi" and "Star Wars - Disc 2.avi" simple would work fine if you just hit play on disc 1. it only adds files after the selected one, so hitting play on disc 2 would only play disc 2.

Thanks. I used the gbpvr player and this worked with the stacking in simple mode.
Another question while i am at it.
I tried nameing the stargate series sg-1 using the example described in wiki , but can't get it to find the series info.
How would you name an episode of stargate?
I have tried different combinations, but it will not find the info
Best Regards

"Stargate SG-1 - 9x01 - Avalon (1).avi"
"Stargate SG-1 - 9x02 - Avalon (2).avi"
"Stargate SG-1 - 9x03 - Origin (3).avi"
"Stargate SG-1 - 9x10 - The Fourth Horseman.avi"

all those should work fine. if you're to lazy to find the correct showname, you can just do this always (many of my shows are named this way now, its annoying having to go to tv.com everytime just for the filename).
"Stargate SG-1 - 9x01.avi"
"Stargate SG-1 - 9x02.avi"
"Stargate SG-1 - 9x03.avi"
"Stargate SG-1 - 9x10.avi"

it looks for the " - " ie [space][seperator][space] as the break point, so SG-1 wont be counted as a break point. then just do a "Episode Lookup" and away you go. you might have to do "Find Episode List" if you're having troubles, but im pretty sure sg1 is included in the standard episode list.
