Help detecting remote for ATI Theatre 550 card

Hi,

I have a lower end HTPC (dual p3 550mhz), 512 ram, ti4600, MSI branded ATI theatre 550 card, Creative sblive! 24bit snd card , 80gb hd.

I have this running as 'computer' right now displaying on monitor. I can't get the remote that came with the MSI branded ATI Theatre550 card.

Can anyone help me get this working??

I've got this one which ATI branded but very similar.

If you set the remote as "MCE remote" most of the buttons should work.

(Edit) Woops, just noticed that msi bundles their own remotes. ATI uses cyberlink. Have to wait for some other members to be more helpful lol

Thanks to you, I set the Theatre 550 remote to MCE remote in the Config and it works now (mostly).

On a side note, any reason why I can't get some channels 'well-tuned'. In my case 37 (discovery channel) should be coming in clear as a bell, but isn't. Can I fine tune the tuning on just this channel?

Need more info about your setup. Ie cable / antena / sky etc.

Look through the wiki 1st, and searching the forums. If no luck post a new topic in the Support section
