Lost recordings

When restarting my server I had to kill the GBPVRrecording process.
After the restart all recordings were deleted from the database (luckily I had a backup of the database from a few days ago and restored most trough export-import in hte setup utility and renaming the files in the mean time).

Any idea what could have caused this? The log file unfortunately stops before the time I killed to recording process.

The only reason I think of is, if GB-PVR couldnt find the recordings in their original location, it would have remove the database. So if you'd be fiddling with drive mappings, or recording to a network drive or external drive, then this might have happened to you. Otherwise I dont know.

The files are on a local disk and there has been no change prior to what happened.
