Hi

I've just installed V0.23.8 and it starts up fine. I've got as far as watching live TV but am then unable to return to the main menu - the video simply freezes.

I don't know whether it's related or not but the status program seems to be permanently attempting to access the web from the moment it's started (not just when the video freezes).

Please let me know if I need to send you anything to aid with debugging - I'm a bit new to this.

Thanks again for the work you put in.

How are you trying to stop live tv? escape/home/stop?

What type of client are you running? VMR7/VMR9/Overlay/MVP/PVR350/XCard?

It doesnt access the web, but it does use tcpip to communicate with the recording service running on the same machine, which can sometimes trigger software firewalls.

Sorry - I didn't give much info did I? I told you I was new to this.

[b Wrote:Quote[/b] ]How are you trying to stop live tv? escape/home/stop?

Either Escape or Ctrl+G then clicking on Menu.

[b Wrote:Quote[/b] ]What type of client are you running? VMR7/VMR9/Overlay/MVP/PVR350/XCard?

PVR350. It does the same in VMR7 or VMR9 or overlay modes.
I'm using Composite 2 input on the card.
Also I'm running in Windows 2000.

It was the firewall which was showing activity so that explains that.

Thanks again
Chris
