Other than restarting the recording service, is there any way to kill a stuck Live TV recording session??

It was started by a client PC that crashed. Restarting the service is not an option for some time.

Theres probably not much you can do about this other than restarting the recording service.

Changes are a device locked up while trying to stop the recording. In GBPVR this causes it to appear to still be recording.

Thanks for that - I knew I should have changed both machines over to npvr ;( and will when things settle down a bit on the home front.

Situation was watching a recording, it finished, requested to watch a TV channel live and the PC client crashed.

Up to 12GB now, so it really is recording - a quick check and it is still recording that channel.

Ah well - teaches me a lesson.
