PLEASE NOTE - I've removed the download link. There is more work needed to cope with different XMLTV file versions. I'll post a new version in a new thread in the next few days. Thanks to those who have tested it so far.

Included are my files. There was no change in xml file but all scheduled recordings are declared as 'not valid'?

What is wrong :confused:
This tool is exactly what I was missing because here (in Croatia) rescheduling is very common
Please help.

I was worried that it wouldn't work for non-UK users. The structure of your XML file is completely different to mine. I need to re-read the XMLTV project specs to see what I need to change.

Now you know why the default action is logging-only.

Thanks for trying it - I'll try and get a fixed version out ASAP.

This version now has another switch...

-usestoptime

This switch compares the end time of the scheduled recordings to see if they match the XML file entries. Use this switch ONLY if your XMLTV file has 'stop' times in the programme details.

The new version has replaced the one in the original post.

REMEMBER - DO NOT use the '-clean' switch unless you are happy that the log file is only showing invalid pending recordings and backup your gbpvr.mdb if you do decide to use it.

I've enabled emails for my profile (meant to do it before). If you find any oddities then zip your xml file and the cleanepg.log and send them to me.

Hi Brian,

I'll try this and let you know how I get on. Hopefully this will stop the problem of a duplicate recording caused by a schedule change using both of my TV cards.
