When i try to start gbpvr with the -updateEPG switch i get this error

I am running XP Pro with service pack 1
PVR 350
A7N8X-X system board

You usually only get this error if you've not got the Microsoft .net v1.1 framework installed.

If you run it with out the -updateEPG switch, does it run? If you use the Update EPG button in the config app, does it work ok? If not, email me the config.exe.log and gbpvr.exe.log files and I'll take a look.

Thanks for the quick reply

But my PC running XPPRO does'ent like me any more I got the NT blue screen of death today, I'll reinstall and see if it fixes the fault.

Well it is up and running again, I installed ver 0.17 and every thing was ok until I added a second capture source.

This source was configured as UK, no EPG and s-video external tuner (for my ageing Hi8 camcorder) when I restarted GBPVR I got the same error again also I could not remove the second capture source it would appear to delete but when I restarted the configuration app it was back but with all settings removed, also scheduled recording stopped working.

I uninstalled then reinstalled GBPVR with 1 capture source and it worked ok again any idea’s.

Try installing the second capture source again. Make sure you visit all of the "Settings" buttons. When the error occurs, email me the config.exe.log file (with a brief note explaining - because I get too many emails).
