Converting DivX to MPEG2

Hi,

I'm having problems playing DivX files on my machine. I've been looking around for some free software that will convert my DivX files back to MPEG2 but I'm not having much luck. Anybody got any suggestions?

What kind of problems are you having when playing Divx files? It would most likely be easier to fix the Divx issue than to trancode everything to MPEG2.

You can try DIKO (an unfortunate acronym) -

I don't use it myself, but a lot of people say it works fine.
