It would be good if the Chaintech Xgi Volari V3 card is supported. This video

card has DVI, s-video, and vga out and does hardware Mpeg-2 decoding

according to the chaintechusa.com website and the product manual !!!

I have no plans to explicitly add support for this device's hardware decoder, but this support is probably not needed anyway. You can probably already use the accelleration features it provides by installing a software video decoder that supports hardware accelleration (DXVA).

I dont really know really know anything about this card, but try the Cyberlink decoder. It has support for hardware accelleration via DXVA, so if you're lucky it might give you a boost.

So does just about every modern video card.

I dont have one of these cards, and dont plan on getting one, so I'm unlikely to add any specific support for it in the future. If the Cyberlink decoder doesnt help, maybe you should get in touch with the manufacturer and ask them if there is a DirectShow decoder that can take advantage of their hardware decoding. If they dont have one, at least tell them you'd like one.
