Thanks for all the info I typed this last night but the site was down so here it is -

I've just rebooted and selected

EPG Source: DVB EPG Broadcast

when I hit the "Map digital channels to EPG channels" button I get a message saying GB-PVR was unable to start the BDA device I have configured.

I guess this is a driver issue I'm using the latest BDA drivers from Twinhan BDA Drivers 1.2.2.9 they work fine with MCE 2005 but that don't use the Xcard.

I tried using Spectrums drivers BDA Drivers 1.6.0.1 but when I hit the "Map digital channels to EPG channels" button my computer crashed so I think I'll go back to the ones from Twinhans site.

So does anybody know the BDA drivers I need to get the Twinhan DVB-T working?

I assume they'll work fine with my DVB-S as well.

Thanks in advance.
Snarl.

What version of GB-PVR are you running? Twinhan recently changed the driver names. These newer drivers only work 'out of the box' with the v0.95 build of GB-PVR. In the earlier versions, you need to change some settings in BDA.ini to get them to work.

Thanks for the info, theres still hope for meSmile

I'm running v0.94.13

The download link for v0.95 isn't working for me at the moment and hasn't been for a day or two.

I guess I can wait, unless you wanna tell me what to do, don't worry I'll wait.

Thank you.

We get EPG for the current and next program per channel but that's it Sad

Snarl,

As sub mentioned Twinhan keep changing the bda capture device names in the driver. Also a lot of users including me suffer stutter problems with the drivers since 1.2.2.0 see herehttp://forums.dvbowners.com/index.php?showtopic=5074. I prefer the 1.2.1.9 version this works well with GBPVR, you can get them here:http://forums.dvbowners.com/index.php?showtopic=5191

The 1.2.1.9 drivers requires a bda.ini definition like this:
[Twinhan DVB-T]
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-T
FILTER_TUNER=TwinHan DVBT BDA Tuner Filter
FILTER_CAPTURE=TwinHan DVBT BDA Capture Filter
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=Output1

If you use the latest driver the filter names are different in the card definition.
FILTER_TUNER=DVB-TV 878 Digital Tuner Filter
FILTER_CAPTURE=DVB-TV 878 Digital Capture Filter

As for an xmltv epg souce give Javaxmltv2 grabber a go available here http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/dvb-w...erV2.1.zip

Cheers
Daza
