First, thanks to those who contribute to this forum. And thanks for taking time to read about my issues.
Setup:
2.0 ghz Celeron
768 MB Ram (64 allocated to integrated video card)
PVR-150
Standard Definition TV (About 25 channels)
Objective: Get PVR to work on computer then get a new video card so I can play it to my TV.
Location: USA
History:
I installed the parts & software on the on a fresh install of XP pro. I can get my channels to work in WinTV2000, a couple of them I needed to fine tune to get the sound to work properly. Once I installed GBPVR, ALL the channels are all fuzzy & distorted and most with no sound in GBPVR. After this I installed trial versions of SageTV and BeyondTV, both had the same issues. To make a long story short after I tried the FreqCopy with no avail, I added the channels manually as the frequency (since MOST of the channels look good in the Tuning Assistant), but some still don't have sound. I hope I can resolve the audio issue by slightly adjusting the frequency.
Questions:
1.If all the programs (gbpvr/sagetv/beyondtv) have issues with the channels, where does the problem lie?
2.Can I somehow map the channels I get from Zap2it to the channels I have such as 67250000 in GBPVR to channel 4 on Zap2it? Or does someone have a way to get a tv guide to work with frequency channels?
