How to get the new name after renamerecordings

No, I haven't looked at it any further. I believe Deadrun has something working, but not sure what as he is updating some files after rename runs. You might want to check the community announcements as I believe he has it posted there.

Thanks to everyone's help. There may be other ways to do this but thanks to many, see the thread above and others, here is what I use to do so.

RenameRecording v1.1 build20051223

Then to get the new name:

getnewname.vbs
mTranscode_0p0p3.vbs [I have been using this to transcode and move the new renamed transcoded file]

mencoder and others are used as well to transcode

I was doing this so that I could have shows recorded and commercials cut and renamed so ipod conversion is all renamed to include Show - Episode. I am still trying to figure out good profiles for mencoder or ffmpeg to transcode to ipod compatible mp4 or h.264, any help appreciated!

I currently dump the divx file to a directory where videora again transcodes to ipod (would like to skip this step, but it works well right now).
