MCE2005 Remote IR Blaster

I just got a Microsoft MCE2005 remote and am trying to configure GB-PVR to use it as a channel changer for one of my capture sources. When I plugged it in, the system recognised it and the remote seems to work to control GB-PVR. However, when I try to select 'MCE2005 IR Blaster Plugin' as the channel changer, I get a pop-up error box that says "An unhandled exception has occurred in your application. ..." and "Value cannot be null. Parameter name: type". I don't see anything relevant in the config log. Any idea what's causing this? Could it be an incorrect driver? Which driver should I have? I'm running XP/SP2 with the latest updates (including one for the eHome Infrared Controller).

I think I know what would cause this. Unfortunately though, you'll have to wait for the next release for a fix. This is likely to be the end of January. Sorry.

If you need it going earlier, you may need to look at using HIP or Girder.
