For those of you who use DScaler5 as your MPEG decoder, there's a new version out. Not much has changed apparently and I haven't tried it yet... Improved deinterlacing for Radeon cards seems to be the only change.

The readme on sourceforge mentions preliminary NV12 support. I'm running 0.0.6 now. I'd be curious to hear from anyone who has tried it out.

this thing rocks! finally something as good as Nvidia/Cyberlink and FREE!
 de-interlacing looks as good as nvidia and it doesn't suffer from the sharpness-shimmer so far...and smoother actually while about same cpu load.. [all this on an ATI card,testing an Nvidia 5200 later] oh,and ff/fr skips are almost instantaneous!  i can keep my finger on the ff button in timeshift and it just keeps popping forward smooth as in other players...Thanx for sharing this one! ! everyone should try it,i say it's better than any of the others i've tried [nvidia's Purevideo 1.02.185, Cyberlink's from PowerDVD6 Deluxe,Elecard/Moonlight, Nero] [all of which are pay$$$]

Glad you like it. Be aware, I think he goofed on the internal versioning of this release, the dlls report as being an older version. By the way, I saw zero difference between this version and the previous version if anyone was wondering.
Also, it works great for me as long as I use VMR9 (or 7 i think)... overlay causes some serious jitters.
