Configure for Wintv-PVR150 MCE

I'm having trouble with setup. I have heard a lot of good things on this software. I just installed the PVR-150 card, and was using the Wintv software that came with it. I mainly want to use this to transfer a bunch of VHS to DVD. Do I need to completely remove all of the Hauppauge software so that there are no conflicts with GBPVR? I also have an "error downloading codec" when playing back. I have playback set up as VMR9. Thanks for your help.

If you're using MCE, then you need to disable MCE services to use gbpvr.
The error can be resolved by downloading and installing an MCE certified decoder (if using MCE) or the decoder available on the hauppauge website (free).
GBPVR will co-exist with WinTV2000 (and the other stuff) with no problems.

Thanks Reboot. Is there a preview window when capturing? Also, what do I need to do to capture form VCR, just set up as external device?

You probably better off just using the Hauppauge WinTV software if you need to capture from a VCR.
