Live TV - Fast Forward

Apologies in advance if this is a dumb question or if this has already been covered elsewhere on the forum.
Live TV on my PC and MVP works great. Pausing is excellent. However, once I have resumed playback after a pause should I be able to fastforward to catch up with the live broadcast ( for example to skip ADs)? I've tried pressing the FF button on the Hauppauge remote control but nothing happens. Am I doing something stupid or this fetaure not yet available?

I thought this was enabled when watching on your PC, but i think its still disabled when watching over MVP. This is on Sub's ever increasing TODO list.
