What I'd like to do is remove the last commercial and the beginnng of the next program as comclean does an excellent job at flagging the commercial at the beginning (and the end as well).

Set
delete_show_after_last_commercial=1
in your comskip.ini file.
Comskip will delete the last commercial and everything after the last commercial.

If someone is able to produce a plugin for GBPVR that can start comskip with the .txt file of the .mpg file that should be reviewed as argument then comskip will open and show the mpeg and the positions of the commercials.
Then, by pressing remote control buttons that would be translated by the pluging to keys being send to comskip you can review the cutpoints and improve them. When, when done, the plugin can ask comskip to write out the reviewed .txt file and to exit.
The only reason that I did not do this myself is because i do not use GBPVR for watching the recordings.

Did any more come of this? This would seem to be an excellent way to reduce MPEG file sizes where commercials are either not detected or to remove parts of the program itself, like the pre-game, post-game or half time section of a sports game, that doesn't get credited to the commercial by comskip.

Basically a simple GUI which allows manual cut pouints in Comskip with "cut from here to here, then here to here and from here to here", which allows cutting of certain sections of the show.

yeah it would be nice to cut out the half time show on the football games to make them fit on a DVD.
