Ok im not sure then name of the cable ... so ill try to draw a diagram


- RED OUT-------------------
TV cable in ---- YELLOW OUT---------------
- WHITE OUT ---------------

I know they sell a box that requires plugging in version of this but i wanna see if it makes my tv picture better if theres a wire package (wires smaller then a box obviously)
And how do you configure your tv tuner card to run on the i think there called "AV" jacks?

I don't really understand your question, but generally the colors for the cables you listed are:

Yellow = composite video
Red = Left audio
White = Right audio

...and if you're wanting to use the red/white/yellow cables, generally this would be considered the composite video source, so look for something like "Composite".

Basiclly asking if they make a simple wire from tv wire to those 3 colors... I know they make a box converter where you take your signal wire from the wall plug it in and it gives you those 3 wires...
But it requires to be plugged in (takes power)
Im wondering if theres a simple wire version?
And i have the R/Y/W wire input spot on my tv card... (wondering if it will be clearer input then the tv wire...)
How do i configure gb-pvr and my card to take that instead of the tv wire.

Called A/V cables like i thought.
But basicly i want a tvcable(coax) to av cable converter.. without it being a converter box.

anyhow im more intrested in how to get my tuner card to receive from the a/v cables it has the input spots but i dont know how to configure gb-pvr to read from that...

I doubt you'll notice any difference using a converter because your source is still coax... you may even see a decrease in quality due to the conversion.

I noticed very little difference using the composite connection from my Dish Network's box compared to the coax. s-video was a big jump in quality compared to the other two.

You are trying to convert your cable tv(the one that runs from the plug on the wall to the back of your tv) from coax to another standard such as RGB or S-Video, correct? If so I do not believe they make such a thing. If they do I do not see how it could improve quality.

Well im wondering how the card handles coax vs the others for quality levels...
If it does a better job handling a/v or s-video then coax... why not?

to the best of my knowledge the card will only change channels on the coax input. If you set it to AV or S-Video then all it will do is accept the data stream, such as a vcr or dvd player. The only way I could see this working was if you used a cable box in the middle to handle to channel translation and used a IR blaster to change the channel. The cable box would have to have a s-video out. I am not even sure if GBPVR could work this way though. That would be a question for sub.
