volume level from API

any way to get the current volume level?

i'm asking because i'm looking for a way to slowly increase the volume, from zero, to whatever level it is currently at.

i didn't see it in the API (just VolumeIncrease/VolumeDecrease)...if that's the case, can anybody think of a clever ways to do this?

No, I dont actually know what the volume is, mainly because I have no way to ask the MVP about the volume.

hmm, ok. any guess as to how many times i'd need to call volumeDecrease to get to zero?
(not looking for a definitive answer, rather an estimate -- 20? 50?)

and would there be a problem calling volumeDecrease a sufficient amount of times, then calling volumeIncrease x times to set the volume?

I dont know. I havent tried it. It various from playback device to playback device.
