Stop me if this is already possible, but for all of us with 350's that lock up with with OSD, would it be possible to leave all the OSD functions on the computer monitor and just output the mpeg to the TV screen when Live TV or a file is selected? Basically have it work the same was the Hauppage WinTV2000 appllication works, except actually be useable without a keyboard and mouse unlike the poorly thought out WinTV application. That way we could still have your great easy to use remote interface, TV guide and IR blaster support by putting a monitor next to the TV but still use our hardware decoder.

You cant currently do this. If I make this change, you'll get nothing but video. No menus, no TV Guide etc.

Well that would be fine with me since the Hauppage software only gives us that much now plus it does not have support for an IR channel changer, Zap2it program listings or even loading recorded files using only the remote! If for example Beyond TV would just support video out to the 350 decoder with no OSD I would buy it in a second! But they have said they will not be doing that any time soon.

OK, I've added an option to config.xml for the next release that will allow you to disable the OSD usage on the PVR350. The settings is <UsePVR350OSD>

Looking forward to trying it, thanks.
