I installed GBPVR for the first time, set up an account with Zap2It which successfully imported all of my channels. But when I go to "Live TV" or "TV Guide" GBPVR tells me that "No channels have been set up. Run the configuration utility." Which I have done now a half dozen times, I keep getting the same error. I know that the update worked because I can use the Search Guide, it has the correct listings and times for all of my channels.

I'm a total newb here, so I'm probably missing something.

One weird thing, which may or may not be helpful: After I had imported and tried to get this to work, I noticed that my system date was wrong, it was set one day ahead. I corrected the date, but perhaps that is messing with something.

zip your gbpvr.mdb file, and gbpvr.exe.log, and email them to me at support@devnz.com and I'll take a look.

Looking at your logs, its because all your channels are marked as disabled. Go into your capture source settings, where it lists your channels, then tick the 'enabled' check box on each of them, then it should sort itself out.

Hi-
I just set up gbpvr, and I'm having the same problem -- the main app doesn't see my channel/EPG setup. I've tried this with both no-epg and with Zap2It setups.

I checked here, saw the notice about channels being enabled. So I checked on it, and sure enough, all of mine had become disabled. I check them all, "click" ok, exit setup, and ... nope, still no love from gbpvr.

So back into the config program, and the channels are still unchecked. I check them again in "Edit Recording Source", select "OK". Then I go immediately back to the "Edit Recording Source" requester, and everything's unchecked. The config program is simply not saving this info.

I grabbed the latest version from the web site today. I'm running the BDA Recording Plugin, with a Fusion 5 Lite (ATSC) digital TV card. This is on Windows XP SP2, 1GB main memory, Athlon XP 2500+ CPU, ATi 9000 main graphics card (FYI).

This looks like a great application, and I'm anxious to try it out. I was mainly looking for an alternative to the Fusion HDTV app for scheduled recording -- theirs crashes constantly, making it totally unsuitable as a TiVo-replacement (I actually have two TiVos, but nothing for HD recording).

Please help if possible, thanks!

You're running a digital card, so you need to do additional things. Did you follow the steps listed here: http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Confi...HDTVSource
