Any way to install nero digital without nero?

I want to be able to play nero digital .mp4 files that i have made. Is there any way to get nero digital installed without installing the whole lot of nero?
I am trying to keep the pvr as clean as possible.

There is a free Nero media player which might play them? http://www.free-codecs.com/download/Nero...Player.htm. Also have a look round the http://www.free-codecs.com site as there seems to be a lot of codec support on there!

I'm pretty sure that I was able to play .MP4 files (made with ND) using FFdshow as the codec. First thing to try is opening an MP4 in WMP, tell it to allow that file-extension if it asks, see if it plays okay. You then need to add the extension MP4 to GBPVR (if you are using "My Videos", not sure if the built-in "Video Library" supports it) in the config. Then it worked for me.
I ended up installing ND 'cos it seemed easier, but I'm pretty sure I got it working before I installed ND. HTH |
