Today was the switchover for the Belmont transmitter - Borders and Northern England. I thought this would be simply a job of retuning. However I am unable to tune into a number of channels (BBC1; BBC2; etc) since it appears that one of the channels has now changed and GPVR is only set to scan the old channels. Is there a file with the channels to be scanned detailed in it that I can easily modify? (I'm still using GBPVR v1.3.11 - perhaps I should upgrade but it works so reliably!!)

You should be able to take the tuning file from NPVR and just use that, although if you've just switched it may be out of date. Perhaps try an all frequencies scan?

I can't guarantee this will work but try the INI in the attached zip file. Copy it into the BDA\DVB-T folder in the GB-PVR installation folder and do a rescan for Belmont.

Cheers,

Thank you for both the replies. The attached 0069.ini file won't work yet but should after 17th August since all except channel 22 and 60 are not yet transmitting. The following file does work now and should still work after 17th August:

[TERTYPE]
1=Borders and Northern England
2=Belmont
[DVB]
0=10
1=C22,482000,0,0,8
2=C25,506000,0,0,8
3=C28,530000,0,0,8
4=C30,546000,0,0,8
5=C53,730000,0,0,8
6=C60,786000,0,0,8
7=C48,690000,0,0,8
8=C68,850000,0,0,8
9=C66,834000,0,0,8
10=C57,762166,0,0,8

Incidentally I had problems with it not wanting to rescan but this was overcome by first removing the SCAN-3.cache and SCAN-4.cache files from the gbpvr/BDA folder before rescanning.

All is now back up and running!

I'm Belmont as well and cam across an old problem that is worth remembering.
If you use the broadcast DVB-T EPG there seems to be no way to remap channels - there is no pull-down for the scanned data - Temporarily setting it to xmltv as an epg lets you get the mapping done.

ISTR somewhere that the two ARQA and B are back to front and change over in November sometime.

p.s. I still do a scan and then manually get rid of the crap with a text editor on the cache files to make mapping easier.
