Hiya, I have been lurking around here for a little bit, and for the most bit I have been able to find all my solutions in the forums here, but this one is getting away from me. Whenever I install and use the My Pictures plug in, even to a relatively empty directory, it eats up almost 500MB of RAM in a matter of 5 minutes and keeps eating. Removing the problem rectifies the situation. I have checked to make sure I have the newest version of the plugin from the wiki, and it doesn't seem to produce any errors in the log. Any help?

Thank you for the program and any supportSmile

Hi,
I had the same problem that made me not use gbpvr for pictures. A few weeks ago I did a complete removal of gbpvr and installed everything from scratch. My Pictures is working ok now. Only exception is that I have some beatifull panorama's (several pictures stitched together). These will take quite some time to load.

So a reinstall may do the job for you. If you take that route, don't forget to export your recordings first (I forgot :o ).

awww, that sounds like a lot of work. Any other ideas before I start going crazy on my GBPVR install?

I actually have the same issue. I was using the default skin in GBPVR, and experimenting with feeding my MVPs with it. I found that as soon as I navigated from the MVP to the folder where my pictures are, it would hang...then the MVP would disconnect and go to reconnecting.

I went to the server and it was available, but really slow to respond. I found it had eaten 250Mb of memory, and was expanding the page file to over a gig in size...thrashing the hard disks to death.

I tested several times, looking at the configuration and ensuring the dbase file was in the right directory, to no avail. I finally just ended up disabling the plugin for now.

Hi reven,

I found it, tried it, watched it eat all my RAM. I have 2GB of RAM on the server, still no dice. It has this issue with or without the MVP server running. If there is anything I can do to help you find the issue, let me know. I also understand that I am in the minority with this problem, so no big deal if not. Thanks for the plugins =)

Ok, that was a weird one...

I reinstalled it and it ran fine with just one pictures, so I decided to move to a different directory (removed the old one), relaunched GBPVR, and bang, memory spike. So I thought you must have been right, so I went back into the config, removed the new directory, went back in the old one with just one picture, and it still did it. I dont get it...
