Live TV gives blank screen

Now that I have figured out my stupidity on getting Live TV to come up correctly, I can't seem to get a picture. I'm using an Avermedia M150 with S-Video coming from my satellite receiver. It's setup for capture card #1 and S-Video external tuner. I've tried S-Video external tuner #2 as well as some others but none work. When I go to watch TV I can see the recording button turn green and my HD light is blinking so I guess its filling the ring buffer. The FM module works fine. Am I missing something?

You could try disabling SBE to see if this makes a difference. Also, you may want to try a scheduled recording to see if this works.

Its an option in the Config app (misc tab). Stream Buffer Engine is a set of Microsoft objects which allow you to pause TV etc.

Well I disabled SBE and no luck. I also did a quick record, same thing. Hmmmm. I take it the M150 ini files have been fixed in 0.18l?

Sorry, I dont know what is going on. You could try sending your log files from c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr

The ini settings for the M150 has been unchanged since they were last confirmed working by another users early in June (mid way through v0.17).

Has anyone here gotten the M150 to work with ver. 0.18l? If so, what settings are you using? I believe I have everything setup correctly, direct recording plugin, M150 device type, input(S-Video)etc. Is the direct recording plugin something that needs to be added in or is that already there? I'll post my log files when I get home this evening. Thanks!!!

I finally got LiveTV to work for the M150. I believe me not installing a software decoder was the problem,DOH!!! Now that I can watch TV, how can I get the screen to completely fill my TV screen. I have it checked for fullscreen in the configuration part, but I'm still about an half an inch away on the top and bottom from full screen. Thanks!!!
