No audio w/ Emu 1820m soundcard

Hello,

Just purchased a new soundcard, the Emu 1820m (a 'professional' soundcard), running a Hauppauge 150 capture card.

When I run GBPVR, I am unable to get any sound into it. But, if I run the Wintv2000, sound comes in just fine, I'm able to record sound, etc.

My previous soundcard was a M-Audio Delta 1010 (also a 'professional' soundcard), GBPVR worked with it just fine.

I looked in the config.exe to see if I needed to select the 1820m as the audio output, but I cannot see anywhere to do this. Is there a configuration file which I can edit to point audio to the 1820m?

Sorry, its not possible in GB-PVR to capture the sound from a separate soundcard.

Thank you for your reply.

I don't think I made myself clear...I am simply trying to listen to the audio signal from the PVR150. I can watch a live program, just not hear the audio. I am not trying to record audio from the 1820m.

This is the only soundcard I have in my system...what I believe WinTv2000 is doing is routing the audio from the PVR150 card to the wave output of Windows, which is then sent to the 1820m.

Am I missing something here? Is GBPVR not able to send audio to the wave output?

Did you try selecting the Audio Renderer in the config app?
