No Audio??

Hi All,

My first post - I have the PVR350 (just got it a week ago).

I have tried everything i can think of to try and get sound (Live TV) out of my machine but get nothing.

I've tried numerous drivers for both the PVR350 and the AC97 onboard (nforce2) audio but GBPVR will not play sound. If i play music or a dvd with GBPVR - i get sound.

The Wintv2000 application as well as SageTV,BeyondTV and Showshifter all have sound on live tv.

I have set the "hardware decoder device" to software and have tried both the "intervideo NonCSS" decoders as well as system default. and every other one listed - Nvidea, sonic etc.

Any help would be appreciated!

You are using the audio out connectors on the back of the PVR350, not your PC sound card out?

I'm using the sound card - not using the 350's tv-out.

I seem to have got it working now - For some reason some (most) of the channels have no sound but the satelite decoder channel does and this is the one i need.

If you're using soundcard with the PVR350 for display, you need to loop the audio out of the PVR350 back to the line-in on your sound card, then line-out from you soundcard to you tv (or amp). This allows for in sync video/audio, and fm/net radio from the same audio output.
