Hi Guys

Just wondering whether it's possible to diplay video (either recorded or live TV) on both the PC monitor and out of TV Out from the PVR 350 at the same time. At the moment the monitor just reports a message saying the video is being played via TV Out.

Thanks in advance for any help

Chris

No, GBPVR doesn't support it.

As Huw said, it doesnt support it. Even if it did, remember - the PVR350 hardware decoder only works with tv out connector. This is the way the card was designed. Any video shown on your desktop would need to be software decoded.

If you prefer video on the PC desktop, just set the hardware decoder option to 'None - use software'.

it's a shame really, the PVR TV-out is great if you have a TV, but the quality on a big screen is not good at all, I get much better quality from my graphics cards DVI, so may end up getting rid of my PVR-350 as it is rather redundant for anything other than the TV input.

Thanks for the replies - any plans to add this functionality? Presumably the mechanisms are in place to do it as I have the option of either software decoding to monitor or h/w decoding to TV.

No, you can choose one or the other.
